Harlen James is Here!

He was born Friday August 28th shortly after 1pm. He weighed 7lbs. 8.2 oz and is 19 1/2"

Lots of dark hair and in my opinion looks a whole lot like Hayden's baby pictures.

Hayden is the best big brother.

Jen is doing well and will have her gallbladder removed in a couple of weeks.

Big Baby

Jeana's latest ultrasound says she's on track to have a big baby.

It already measures to be almost 5 lbs!

It also looks remarkably like her baby picture.

A Shower for Baby ???????

Saturday our wonderful family members gave Jeana and Pheefer a baby shower. They got tons of goodies and it was a lot of fun. They are definately prepared for baby ??? She will go to the doctor in just over a week and on that visit will learn the date for her c-section. Here are a few pictures from Saturday.

Busy Weekend!

On Saturday, we made our annual trip to the Ringling & Barnum and Baily Circus at Reliant Stadium. Next year we will have two more to add to our expanding group! The show was very good again this year and we all enjoyed it very much.

Cousin Ellie got to come with us this year and she had a blast. She even got a little clown action during the performance!!!

We got home and took a little rest, then went to watch Hayden at the bicycle races at Armadillo BMX racing track in Conroe. His very first race was last weekend and he took second place, this weekend, he got FIRST!!!!

Wade and Kaylie spent the night and we all had a real good time. The perfect weekend ended with Hayden attending "Baby School" at Women's Hospital. He took a little class that showed him how to take care of his new baby brother when he makes his arrival in the next few weeks. Jennifer should get her scheduled date for her c-section on Friday.

MOSIDA 2009

The girls and I just attended the Lewis Mother, Sister, Daughter weekend in Schulenberg. We were a smaller group this year, only 16 and missed everyone that couldn't attend. We are building memories that will be cherished for many more generations to come. In a few short years we will be adding members from our fourth generation. We also got our official name this year, MOSIDA. Our shirts were designed by Lyndsay's husband Scott, he took the first two letters from Mother, Sisters and Daughters and made our very own logo. Thanks Scott!

Another one Bites the Dust

Wade has lost yet another tooth!!!
Laura took the kids to visit her Mom "MiMi" for a week. I know they will have a good time.
Poor little Wade cried when he left because he thought his Dad would be lonely.

Kaylie's Audition for the Circus

This was Kaylie on the swingset on Sunday afternoon.

Papa kept picking on her by turning the camera upside down when he was looking at her picture. When she saw this she said "Papa, that's not how you're supposed to do it"
