Wade has reached an important milestone

Wade got his first hunting license this past weekend, although he has hunted since birth practically! I took his picture with his license. He was so proud of it.

Ready for my little gobblins.

We decorated the yard for Halloween this past weekend. Now all we need are our little ghost and gobblings. We will be carving pumpkins this Sunday. That's always a good opportunity for some good pictures. I will never forget Kaylie gagging when she saw the insides of the pumpkin when she was about 2 years old.

He will be a pro before we know it

I ran across this picture of Hayden. I think he was 23 months old. This was under the Christmas Tree and he knew exactly what it was and just what he could do with it.

Then in a blink of an eye three years later when he is only FIVE, he gets this from Santa Clause.
He was so little that his feet didn't touch the ground, but he got on it and rode it on Christmas Day. Bub would hold him up and get him started, and when he would get tired he would pull right up to his Dad and he would help him get off. This little boy has no fear and makes this Nana's heart skip a few beats!

Because every 9 day old baby girl needs a tutu

Micah came to Nana & PaPa's house for the first time on Sunday. I had found a new baby store in Atascosita and found the cutest things.

Kaylie & Wade

Kaylie sang at Chapel last Tuesday. She sang her little heart out and I was so proud of her.

Wade got off the bus yesterday and I thought he must have gotten the Latour gene that makes them prone to wearing plaids and striped together. He had on brown plaid shorts with a blue and green striped shirt. One white sock and one orage sock. I didn't think to take a picture, but my first thought was Dad! Turns out that it was mis-match day at school. Today he got off with a camoflauged shirt and camo slippers.

10 Lbs Now

Jennifer took Harlen to the doctor last week. She suspects that he has reflux. She prescribed Zantac and it does seem to be helping a little. She said it may take two weeks to see the full effect. He is getting so big and has started cooing a little.

They are home

Baby Micah made it home yesterday about 4pm. She met Mayble who could have cared less, except that her Mommy was home.
She has the Latour appreciation of food and when Jeana goes to burp her, she sucks the dribbled formula off her bib. She sounds like a little pigglet.

# 5 is Here and it's a ..............

GIRL!!!!!! She is tiny and beauiful. She was born October 9th, 2009 (Aunt LaLa's Birthday too) at about 2:40. She weighs 6lbs. 12 oz. and is 19 1/2 " long. Her hair is sort of light brown.

Her name is Micah Julianna McCall.

Jeana ended up having a regular birth instead of the c-section at the advise of the doctor on call and she did an absolute fabulous job. She labored a total of almost 30 hours.

It has been a long and hard road for them to get their reward today and the emotions at the hospital today showed all of our thankfullness for such a smooth but long delivery.

Pheefer acting goofy.....imagine that!

MAKE LIKE YOU'RE GOING TO WALMART....BUT DON'T!!

Well Cathy's directions reminded us about the time Dad was giving directions and this is what we got....."Make like you're going to Walmart.....but don't". Part of her directions referred to crossing a pontoon bridge. Okie dokie.......we crossed a small bridge and I told Gina that must be it, and she said surely not.....wouldn't there be a sign that said Pontoon Bridge? Sure enough up the road we saw the sign. We took this picture on our way out. Gina thought that's where they launched the pontoon boats! It turns out that the bridge is on pontoons and it actually floats. One lane and very scary to cross! The rest of her directions consist of following another road "to the woods".

Well we made it and it was very much worth the drive. We had a wonderful visit and it was so good to see everyone.

THIS IS SOOOO WRONG!!!

I bought "the just in case it's a girl outfit" this weekend while I was in Lake Charles. I just couldn't resist trying the bonnet on Harlen. He wasn't a willing participant and the picture proves it. Nana's sorry!
