kAYLIE AND HARLEN

Yesterday Kaylie held Harlen for the first time. She was a little apprehensive about it and suggested that she may drop him. I told her that she could sit on the couch and she would be fine. Jennifer asked her the other night if she wanted to take him home with her. She didn't miss a beat and matter of factly told Jennifer "no you can keep him"

I'm one month old today

Today is Harlen's one Month Birthday.

He is getting bigger and smiles all the time.

Every once in a while he will even giggle

in his sleep!

This is what you get when you have a baby and turn 40 in the same month!

Pheefer's 40th birthday party was this Saturday and I just couldn't pass up this opportunity to rib him just a little! On one side of the walker was everything for the baby and on the other side was everything for the old Geezer! Hayden has been watching me build this for over a week, so notice his face in the picture where Pheefer is opening it.

All kidding aside, I know Pheefer will be an awsome Dad and can't wait for the Lil' fart to get here!

Hayden is a big help

While Jennifer was at the hospital having her gallbladder taken out, Hayden was a big help to Nana. While I was in the bedroom changing Harlen, Hayden was in the kitchen busy washing bottles for the sterilizer! I didn't take a picture of the floor, he must have used a quarter cup of dishwashing liquid!

Ready for # 5

I made baby McCall's door hanger for the hospital last weekend. So we are all officially ready. I even made the two ribbons with the boy name and the girl name so all I have to do is add it when it is born. This has been torture not knowing what it is, but now that it's so close, it does add some additional excitement to the birth.

GRANDPARENTS WEEK

It's like Christmas for Grandparents! Last Tuesday we went to first grade to eat lunch with Wade, and this week we went to the Kindergarten to eat lunch with Hayden and Lolla. It's always so much fun to go and see then with all their little friends. Hayden saw a boy in his class yesterday and he said that he has a lot of "neck bracelets" necklaces and he would like just one....and also he has an I.D. bracelet that he thinks is just the coolest.

Kaylie made us a book mark that says "Thumb" body loves you and it has her little thumb prints on it. I just love it because that's just how she would say it too! Kaylie will be singing in chapel next week, and we will be going to watch her. That's always an opportunity for some good pictures.
