Father's Day at a Memory Care Facility

Today Gina and I attended the Father's Day BBQ at Silverado Senior Living, the facility that Dad has lived at for the last 2 1/2 months. All the decorations were awesome and there was live entertainment.
This is Mr. Williams, Dad calls him "His Compadre" and they are good buddies. Dad said today that he is "more important than the President". He also told us that they were both going to Finland later this evening. Last week they went to Africa together on a super sonic jet. At first it was very had to see Dad in this environment, but it is a good fit for him right now. I think it was more of an adjustment for us than for him.
He was all about the corporate world today and world travels, we never really know what we are going to get until we get there.
We are overjoyed that he thinks he is still traveling the world and in the prime of his career. Mr. Williams invented the product Royal Purple and when they are both lucid, they do have some very interesting conversations.
Dad will spend next Sunday with all his kids, grandkids, and great grandkids for Father's Day, we're hoping for one of his good days.

Wade's Graduation

Wade graduated from Kindergarten and will go to first grade next year. He had an awesome year and almost made perfect attendance. We are very proud of him. He loved his teacher Ms. Sanders so much and he learned so much from her. He can read very well, and do math too. I went on his field trip with him and you can tell she genuinely loves each and every one of her students. She is very strict, and her classroom is known as "Kindergarten Boot Camp", but she is very fair. If another teacher is having problems with one of their kids, they go to Ms. Sanders and spends a couple of weeks and she "fixes them".
Hayden has requested her for his first year of school next year.

Family Reunion

Sunday we all attended the "Lewis" family reunion. It has been a tradition for over about 25 years that I can remember. The first Sunday in June. No one calls, you don't get an invitation, you just show up and so does everyone else! We always have so much fun. It's always fun to see the new babies, new spouses. All our children are now having children of their own and it is just amazing. I get away with dressing our three grandchildren alike two or three times out of the year. Family reunion, circus, and Christmas.

It's A Boy!

Jennifer and Bub and Hayden went for the big ultrasound to see what the baby is.
Hayden went straight to Build-A-Bear and made his BABY BROTHER bear. His name will be Harlen James. This is how he told me what they were having. They came to the office for my big
surprise.

Our Little All Star!

We found out last night that Hayden has been selected for T-Ball All Stars!

He is an awsome little ball player and we are so excited for him!

Hayden's Graduation

Hayden Graduated from Pre-School and will start Kindegarten next year.

He looked so handsome in his cap and gown.

Kaylie's Dance Recital

Saturday was Kaylie's first dance recital. She did so good, and I was so proud of her.
I couldn't believe that I was watching my first grand daughter at her first dance recital
when it seems that it was only a couple of years ago that I was watching my daughters
at their first dance recital.
